Inclement Weather Guidelines

On rare occasions, Indiana State University may close due to severe weather conditions. The Student Recreation Center will remain open with essential personnel only if school is in session, however, on an abbreviated schedule. If school is not in session, the Student Recreation Center will be closed. For example, the facility may be open from 12pm to 6pm. Adjustments to the schedule will be made based upon levels of severity. Programming cancellations will be based upon conditions at that time. Please follow the Campus Recreation social media accounts to see schedule changes in real time.

  • Natatorium with lap pool, leisure pool, 22-person spa & sauna
  • Wet Classroom for trainings and additional classroom style space

Parking

The parking lot for the ISU Student Recreation Center is an ISU-zoned parking lot controlled and managed by ISU Parking Services. If you do not have a valid permit, coin metered parking is available with limited spots at different locations around campus. City streets are another option for parking. The ISU Student Recreation Center is not responsible for parking tickets issued while parked in parking lots.

  • All vehicles are required to have a parking permit: Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • A parking permit is not required: Monday – Friday prior to 8:00am, after 5:00pm and every Saturday/Sunday
  • ISU students, faculty, staff and other members of the SRC must purchase a parking permit through ISU Parking Services.

Participant Policies

The purpose of the SRC policies is to provide guidelines for the users of the ISU Student Recreation Center.

Our goal is to create a safe and inclusive environment for participants of the facility. The use of the SRC is a privilege, and individuals not cooperating with established policies may be asked to leave or may have their privileges revoked. The ISU Student Recreation Center staff reserves the right to make judgement and the final decision on policies that may not be covered in policy manuals.
